Eg trur (veit) at eg er den einaste på stranda som hekler på solsenga ;-P haha, oh well!!

I think (know) that I am the only one sunbathing and crocheting at the same time :-P haha, oh well!!

Været i Cavtat

Været i Cavtat er veldig varierende i dag. Det går fra steik sol til rengskyll og torden på to minutt. Fasinerande, og heilt greitt. Vi slapper skikkelig av på havna. Eg for min del sitter under parasoll og hekler, hæærlig!! :-) 

The weather in Cavtat is changing by the minute today. One minute the sun is shining, and the next it's poring down with rain, and we can hear thunder. Facinating, and totally ok. We are really relaxed just sitting watching it under an umbrella, and I am crocheting, lovely!! :-)

Ferie

Det har blitt masse luesying siden starten av VaimDesign, men innimellom har eg sydd litt andre ting. Som foreksempel nye skjørt til sommarferien.

There has been a lot of hats sewn since the start of VaimDesign, but once in a while I sewn some other things. Forexample some new skirts for the summer holiday.

Vi koser oss på ein fantastisk plass akkurat no, Cavtat, Kroatia.

We are in a fantasic place right now, Cavtat, Croatia. 

Celebrations

 

 

Ser tilbake til ei kjempefin helg i lag med heile familien, heilt frå oldebarn til oldeforelde. Vi feira diamant bryllupet til dei flotte besteforeldra våre. Sommaren i Norge viste seg på sitt aller beste, her er vestlandsidyll folkens. Vi bada, sol oss, sang, dansa, herlig å sitte i havgapet når sola går ned i vest.

 

Looking back to our wonderful Family weekend, all of my Family was there, from great grandkids to great grand parents. We celebrated my grandparents Diamond wedding day. This is Norwegian summer at it's best. We swam, sunbathed, sang, danced, it's lovely to watch the sunset this far out to sea.

Heisann alle trufaste lesere!

Da ligger avis artikkelen ute i nettavis form òg. Det er så superkjekt å få så mykje fine tilbakemeldinger om nettsida mi. Både personlig på gata, i meldinger og på telefon. Eg setter utrulig stor pris på det, og det får meg til å ville yte enda meir, og satse videre, muligens med egen nettbutikk. Sitter litt i tenkeboksen, og vurderer fram og tilbake, opp og ned, fordeler og ulemper, så får tiden vise kva det blir til :-)

I mellomtida sitter eg på jobb i eit fantastisk sommarvær. Vi hadde nettopp frokost ute i sola, guu kor hæærlig :-)

Hi all my faithful Readers.

The newspaper article about VaimDesign is online. It's been sooo great to hear from all of you regarding this new adventure. Both personally, from Messages and on the phone. I really appreciate it, and it makes me want to sew even more, and maybe start a "real" online shop. For the moment I am just evaluating the pros and cons, and time will show wether I realize the dream :-)

In the meantime I am at work, and the sun is shining on the westcoast. We just had our breakfast outside, and it felt great.

T-shirt

Kjekt å sy noke nytt innimellom, og denne gang var det gutten sin tur å få sydd noko. Det er som regel jentene som får ting. Skjørt, kjoler, skjerf og jente dill.

It's fun to sew something different once in a while, and this time it was my boy's turn to get something sewn. I usually make clothes for the girls, like skirts, dresses, scarfes and girly things.

Orders ready.

Da har eg fått mange bestillinger ferdige. Eg har heldig is solgt ein del luer - sjølv om det er 25 grader ute for tida :-) HURRA!!! Det som er kjekt med luene/pannebanda mine, er at dei er supre sommerplagg, eg hiv ei i sekken hvis eg skal på fjellet eller i båt. Dei er ikkje for varme, men er supre hvis det bles og for å holde vekk eventuell trimsvette :-)

I have finished a lot of orders. I have - luckily for me - sold quite a few, even though it's 80 degrees f. outside :-) Hurray!! Thhe hats/headbands I make are great for summer, I throw one in my bag wether I am hiking or boating. They are not to hot, but keep sweat away from tour eyes and wind away from your ears :-)

Nytt stoff.

Da har eg fått levert nye flotte stoffer. Det eine (grønne) vart "revet" vekk med ein gang, oioioi så flott, dei andre tre tar ev imot bestillinger på :-)

Nye stoff!!

Eg er på shoppingtur i Oslo nokon dager med besteveninna mi, og som stoff "misbrukere" vi er, hehe, har vi jo peila oss inn på fleire stoff og garn butikker. Eg fant tre jersey stoff til VaimDesign luer og heklegarn.

Siden eg starta VaimDesign nettbutikk har eg fått mange nye bestillinger, så utruuulig kjekt :-) så no kjem eg til å holde godt liv i posten med pakker både til og fra meg :-) hipp, hurra!!! 

I'm in Oslo shopping for a few days with my best friend. And as we both sew and crochet, we have found some fabric stores. I got my hands on new lovely jersey fabric for my webshop, 

Since I started the VaimDesign shop, I have had quite a few orders, and that is just sooo great :-) I will be keeping the postoffice busy in the future ;-)
