Villsau festival

Wow, for ei helg. Eg har vært på Villsau festival i Solund og lært å lage garn av villsau ull. Jippi. Har leika med tanken på å få brukt ulla ei stund, og no har eg endelig lært det. Har funnet fram gamle ull karder og kjøpt håndteiner til å spinne ulla med. Og dungevis av ull venter på meg på låven ;) No mangler eg berre eit hespetre, så er eg i gang ;)

Wow, what a weekend. I have been to a sheep conferanse in Solund to learn to prepare and spin yarn from sheeps wool. I have been toying with the idea for ages, and I have finally learned to do it. I have found old "ull karde", which is a thing for preparing the wool for spinning, and handspinners to make the yarn. And there is a ton of wool waiting for me in the barn ;)
